East London Dance commissioned Hot Pepper Design to create imagery for Blueprint. The night showcases latest trends in dance, freshest moves and a range of styles from the brightest up and coming choreographers that the UK has to offer. We produced imagery to represent the innovative performance nature of the event.
Looking back through clubbing's most influential era's, ELD's Club Culture took you through an immersive journey of dance. ELD commissioned HPD to produce publicity for the event to reflect some of the influential flyers used to publicise club nights over the past decades.
Hot Pepper Design worked with the East London Dance team to produce a fresh approach to their 25th celebrations to reflect the cutting edge work they deliver. The XXV logo with supporting copy line ‘25 Years and Counting’ was developed as an alternative to the usual standard ‘25 Years’ logo.
The Big Local team in Swindon needed a completely new approach to encouraging their residents to pitch ideas to improve their local area with the £1M they had been awarded to Improve the area. We created a fully responsive mobile and tablet friendly website based on a crowd-funding model that enabled Swindon people to upload projects with the possibility of the projects going live with the right amount of backing.
After 2015's sell out international tour Hot Pepper Design were asked to create 2016's publicity for EDge. This year we worked with lines again but digitally projected onto the dancers. In order to keep the vibrancy of the lines we used a 5 colour process replacing the green lines in the artwork for neon inks.
Workplace Exhibition was created to represent 11 choreographers The Place represents. The exhibition stand had to be easily transportable and catch attention at the busy international dance exhibition in Germany. HPD created concepts for a cardboard cube for each dancer. The outside of the cube had images of the Choreographer and the inside housed objects that represented their latest works.
Hot Pepper Design won a tender for The Place London to create a brand and publicity for the organisations professional Undergraduate company. The brand and the publicity needed to help position the company as a clear competitor to all of the professional companies it would be competing against.
Avant Garde Dance commissioned Hot Pepper Design to come up with an identity and publicity for their ‘The Black Album’ worldwide tour. They wanted something image based with a clear message that they could use across all publicity. The brand was made up of Masks they used in the performance with smaller images of the company subtly layered into the mask to give a flavour of the performance.
In an ever evolving natural health world and with plenty of competing brands popping up, Kosmea Australia comisioned us to give their brand a complete refresh and redevelop their complete packaging range. With the original and purest Rose Hip Oil on the market, it was imperative to develop the brand to appeal to both existing consumers and a new audience.
Hot Pepper Design have worked with the Old Town Business Association in Swindon for the past 2 years to develop a brand that represents the area's premium boutique quality. The brand has been used widely on social networking and events publicity, with the logo appearing on the Christmas lights, window stickers, tote bags and all publicity.
Hot Pepper Design worked with The Coca-Cola Company to produce two internal videos to represent Coca-Cola brands through the years. One told a story through dance and the ever evolving coke bottle and the other through a montage of advertising through the years. The videos were shown at an international conference and workshop as an immersive start to the sessions.
Artsbox is a brand-new, exciting social media space where you can safely record your arts experience to share with others as part of Trinity’s Arts Award. HPD won the tender to develop the Artsbox brand and design the mobile friendly website and app for the tool. Hot Pepper Design worked with young people to develop the tool, whilst meeting the vision of the national stakeholders. The web and app launched in February 2014, and was an Education Innovation Awards finalist.

Discover Varmints was a theatre/dance performance based on the book Varmints by Helen Ward. Hot Pepper Design won the tender to create this exciting interactive website. The website, aimed at 5-15 year olds is designed to lead the viewer step by step, through the creation of the performance. During the story of creation the viewer is encouraged to upload their own artwork and additions to the story. This enables the user to learn about the detailed process behind creating a performance in an interactive way.
Planet Health commissioned Hot Pepper Design to refresh the award winning Qsilica brand and develop a whole new identity for their packaging range, including the complete development of its new skin care range. A premium look was essential to reflect the quality of product with stockists including Selfridges and Harrods.
Hot Pepper Design was commissioned to create a brand identity and interior design for Cafe Marlborough, a small cafe in the beautiful quaint town of Marlborough. The brand was developed throughout including signage, colour schemes, menus and publicity.

Hot Pepper Design worked with the Voice team and a small group of vulnerable young adults to create an image and publicity to represent their Voice. The young people gained experience in the approach to the design process and working with them meant the imagery created related directly to its audience.
Hot Pepper Design worked with Duo Sophia and Rose on some design concepts for their premium brand of scented candles. The purity of the scents was represented in the single colour approach to the brand and packaging design.
HPD won the tender for the creation of the SESAME (Flood Risk Adaption) website late 2015. The site was aimed at SME's working in a Flood Risk area and aimed to help businesses reflect on their processes in the prevention of floods. The tool included 3 interactive learning tools with results for the team and user to learn assess.

Hot Pepper Design have a long standing relationship with Create Studios, partnering on digital projects on a regular basis. Create Studios wanted a fresh new rebrand including brand identity, website and print to represent the breadth of work they create.
Hot Pepper Design have worked closely with Create Studios for over 10 years now. They recently commissioned us to do a re-fresh of their brand and develop a complete new website as part of their new strategic planning.
Hot Pepper Design partnered with Create Studios on their digital project 100 Stories (exploring Swindon’s WW1 past). Together we created an interactive mobile friendly website that recalled 100 stories through imagery, video and narrative. Timeline links on the website enabled the viewer to select and scroll through precise time periods and recounts of WW1.
After designing the Big Dance Bus for the 2012 and 2014 tour we were delighted to be commissioned again to design the bus and Big Dance publicity for its definitive 2016 tour. This year was to Celebrate 10 years of the Big Dance under the theme of 'Decades of Dance'.
